They have several standard performances such as the Peanut Butter and Jam concert with the Va Symphony, the annual Suzuki workshop in February and a performance at Chrysler Hall. They are working on a website that gives more info and the details. I support this organization every year with my dues of $20 per year. Volunteer info updates:
In the last newsletter, I mentioned that there is a volunteer opportunity to play for Seniors at a Living Community in Chesapeake. The day that Ms. Karlson, the Director, said she would love to have volunteers is on Friday. I would suggest contacting her directly to find out what time would work, and what you would like to play for the Seniors. All are invited. encourage students who are interested to participate in the various

There is another group that I've just learned about, and that's the
youth orchestra that is located at Liberty Baptist in Hampton. I'm
learning more about this orchestra. I'll share once I know more.

Arco-Jamaa 2006 was a huge success! It went beautifully thanks to all of your support, prayers, donations and blessings! We have sojourned to Africa and I've been blogging my personal experiences here! I will dedicate a page in the future to Arco-Jamaa and to the trip! DVD's of the event are now available for $20 each. | I am overwhelmed with joy each time I receive a special piece of artwork from any of my students. This particular item was given to me on Valentine's Day this year!
